Maybe you’ve heard the big news: Satisfyer just released an update to its infamous Pro 2 clitoris sucker! But is it really better than its predecessor? Is it worth making the change? Let’s compare the Satisfyer Pro 2 Generation 3 with the Pro 2 Next Generation (now called Generation 2)!
I tried both, had a lot of fun in the process, and now did an in-depth comparison between the new and the old.
I will guide you through:
How both toys performed in Bedbible tests
The original Pro 2 Next Gen may be the world’s most beloved cheap sex toy, but how does it compare to the Pro 2 Gen 3 in our comprehensive Bedbible testing process?
Full disclosure: While I wrote Bedbible’s review of the new Pro 2, the previous review was written by Isabelle, another Bedbible reviewer. She’s a big fan of clitoral sucking stimulators and I own both toys too, so you’ll get our perspectives in this comparison.
Let’s take a look at the ratings…

What are the biggest changes to the Satisfyer Pro 2 Generation 3 versus the Pro 2 Next Gen?
While they may look very similar, the Pro 2 Gen 3 is a significant upgrade from the previous version in several ways.

Vibrate now!
Satisfyer has added vibrations to some other toys in its Pro range, such as the Pro 3+ (I know, the names get confusing), but now we can have them in classic Pro 2 form!
Vibrations on the Satisfyer Pro 2 Gen 3 can be activated along with the usual Air Pulse suction fashions, gold used on your own for a more subtle effect.
There is 12 different vibration modes to choose from: 5 constant speeds and 7 patterns. They are definitely on the animated sideespecially at higher speeds, but I found them to be a good match for lower suction levels.

this is my absolute favorite part of the new Satisfyer Pro 2 Generation 3!
Along with the original removable silicone head, you also get a second head with a thin membrane over the mouth. it feels super soft and velvetyand flutters against your clit when you turn on the suction.
Satisfyer calls it “Liquid Air Technology” because it’s supposed to feel like water gently pulsing against the skin. I’m not sure I agree with that assessment, but I do think that when you use enough lube, it actually feels similar to oral sex! In fact, it’s much more oral than the original clitoral suction head.
Tea The best part is when the silicone has absorbed some of your body heat. and you can close your eyes and imagine a tongue down there, doing exactly what you want it to do.

The entire body is silicone
I think Satisfyer has done us a great service by ditching the cheap ABS plastic body of the old Pro 2 for a silky smooth one covered in silicone.
Is totally transparent on the sides and around the buttons, doing this the easiest to clean and dry Pro 2 yet.
simply feels more like a luxury sex toy And even less like a strange medical device!

You can control it through the app
Well, I’ll start by saying that You can only connect the Pro 2 Generation 3 to your phone if you purchase the app-enabled ‘Connect’ version.
I know people have been asking for app controls on the Satisfyer Pro 2 for a long time, and now we have them!
By simply downloading the Satisfyer Connect app and holding the power button on your Pro 2 Gen 3, you can access a whole new level of interactivity with your toy.
In the app, you can Control and customize suction and vibration levels. (together or separately), use a 30 second interval. turbo boost modemake your own suction and vibration patterns or explore premade shades, link up with a partner and have them control the toy, Synchronizes suction and vibrations with music or ambient sounds.and even play erotic audiobooks!

It costs a little more
Since the original was so cheap compared to its many competitors on the market, it’s inevitable that a big part of the comparison between the Satisfyer Pro 2 Generation 3 and the Pro 2 Next Generation comes down to price.
Fortunately, there’s not much to it! Prices will vary depending on where you look, but the new Pro 2 Generation 3 is sold most places in the range of $50-$80. In those same places, the old Pro 2 sells for around $40-$70.
So for about $10 extra, you could access all the new features in Satisfyer’s latest offering!
Additionally, there are two versions of the Satisfyer Pro 2 Generation 3 available: a ‘regular’ version and a ‘Connect’ version that you can use with the app. Tea ‘Connect version costs $10 moreso you should keep that in mind if you really love the sound of the app controls.
In-depth comparison of the Satisfyer Pro 2 Generation 3 with the Pro 2 Next Generation
Let’s take a quick look at the heart of this battle between new and old…
More new changes in the Satisfyer Pro 2 Generation 3
In addition to the big, splashy changes I mentioned above, there are also several smaller updates that Satisfyer has made:
- The new Generation 3 has a much longer battery life than the previous version, although also takes a little longer to load.
- While the new Pro 2 doesn’t have an actual travel lock feature, it’s a bit harder to turn on accidentally. Actually, you have to hold down the power button to turn it on, while the previous one turns on when you click the button.
- Satisfyer has launched Generation in 3 colors from the beginning, which I love (it was a few years before we had multiple colors in the previous version!). You can find it in a wine red, pastel purple or blackwhile the Pro 2 Next Generation is available in classic rose gold, pastel purple or light blue.
But what has remained the same?
As you can see in the comparison table above, there are also some features where Satisfyer has not made any changes in this Pro 2 update. These include:
- Both versions have the same shape and size. Tea The removable heads are also the same shape and size. So, if you have an older Pro 2 Next Generation, you can attach the new heads to that toy if you wish.
- They both have the Same number of suction modes.. These also have the same intensity levels, so it seems like Satisfyer didn’t work hard to improve their famous Air Pulse Technology motor this time around.
- Both toys are completely waterproof and submersible, so you can use them in the bathtub or shower without worries. You can also clean them with mild soap and water.
- You can use the same load Cable for both toys as they use the same magnetic charging points.
- And finally, the new Pro 2 Gen 3 Doesn’t come with its own storage bag yet. This probably saves money, but that doesn’t make it any less annoying!

My thoughts on the Pro 2 Generation 3 vs the Pro 2 Next Generation
Although I didn’t write the official Bedbible review of the Pro 2 Next Generation, I have both toys. In fact, the old Pro 2 was one of the first sex toys I bought!
I was really taken by the amazing experiences other reviewers seemed to have had. I vividly remember one woman saying she used it in the bathroom and had her first squirting experience and multiple orgasms. Others said it felt like oral sex and I was totally sold on the idea.
However, I had trouble using the old Pro 2. I have a very sensitive clitoris who spends his time hiding under the hood and couldn’t stand to be directly exposed to the clit sucker’s pulses. Got used to it for a while, but then it was quickly replaced by the ultra loud one. bullet vibrator that’s him We-Vibe Tango.
So when I saw the new Pro 2 Generation 3 and its Liquid Air technology, I was really intrigued, but I wasn’t expecting much. How crazy then that? I completely fell in love with him!
Have the two different heads totally change the rules of the game. I use the Liquid Air most often, but I also enjoy having a low, slow build before switching to the regular clitoral suction head for an explosive orgasm.
Tea The additional vibrations also add another layer of stimulation. which is a great way to change your usual masturbation habits. they are a little lively for my taste, but when you combine them with suction there is a good amount of deep and satisfying rumble.

What else would I like they had improved?
Of course, even with the best sex toys there is always room for improvement! While I really love the new Pro 2, and think it’s a major improvement over its predecessor, there are still some sticking points for me.
First of all, I think They could have spent more time working on the vibratory motor. Other Satisfyer Air Pulse vibrators actually have pretty loud vibrations, like the Satisfyer Curves 2+so it’s a shame they didn’t use that technology in the new Pro 2.
Another great addition would have been Offer a selection of heads of different sizes.. Other clit sucker brands, such as Womanizer, typically offer a range of different sized mouths, either coming with the toy or available to purchase separately. While I enjoy the larger mouth of the Pro 2 series, every vulva is different and I’ve read many reviews that say it’s too big for them.
And finally, I speak directly to Satisfyer when I say: give us a storage bag, please.
