what is the Velora Crest?
Velora’s place feel me a product they call the Crest Portable Vibrating Nipple Massagers. This pair of soft silicone toys can be placed on your nipples and then controlled using the included remote control. It’s a rechargeable toy, with a nice double-ended charger so you can charge both tweezers at the same time.
Interestingly, the company markets the Crest as a product you can wear around town, under a bra, for surreptitious public play. The wireless remote helps with that – it’s certainly much more subtle than if you had to put your hand down your forehead every time you wanted to change the vibration setting!
Things I like about Velora Crest vibrating nipple clamps:
- Pleasantly painful: Although marketed as nipple “massagers” rather than nipple clamps, I find that Crest’s little clamps stick to my nipples in a wonderfully painful way. It’s a relatively low level pain, not overwhelming by any means, but I’m always aware of it while they’re on, which is fun for a masochistic like me As with other nipple clamps, these are easier to put on when my nipples are hard and are often most painful in the moments immediately after removal when the blood returns. (A mandatory safety tip, though: You generally shouldn’t leave nipple clamps on for more than 30 minutes at a time, to avoid complications that cut off circulation to the nipples.)
- Discreet enough to play in public: True to its marketing copy, the Crest can be effectively concealed when worn under a bra and shirt, so you can surreptitiously play with nipples at a bar, restaurant, or wherever the night takes you. (I wouldn’t recommend wearing them without a bra, because they could fall out more easily and because they would be much more visible that way.) The Crest is even relatively quiet, although strangely the sound becomes higher pitched and a decibel or two louder (I measured it!) when I’m wearing clothes compared to when I’m naked.
- Decent variety of vibration modes: The Crest has 4 constant speeds followed by 6 vibration patterns. I’m not normally a fan of vibration patterns, but I think they work well for nipple play; I don’t know about you, but my nipples prefer the sensation of movement (e.g. being licked/sucked) over vibration, and the patterns can seem more dynamic than a constant vibration.
- Pre-Paired and Stable Remote Control: I had no issues with connectivity while testing the Crest. Your remote was already paired with the toy by default, and the toy responded quickly to every button press, even when you wore it under your clothes.
- Relatively safe: This will vary depending on your particular nipples, but I found that the ridge stayed attached to mine without any problems, even when I experimentally moved my boobs around. (Reviewing sex toys is a tough job, but someone has to do it!) Naturally, they stay in place even more securely when you wear them under a bra.
- Cool aesthetics: I’ve never seen nipple clamps that look like this before! The design is inspired by angel wings, but reminds me more of Sailor Moon’s wand. I love that these clamps are red too, since they are one of my favorite colors.
- Completely waterproof: Hurrah! Try them in the shower, in the bathroom, or for a kiss in the alley on a rainy day. Hey, why not?
- Price: $33 is a decent price for nipple clamps of any type, let alone vibrating nipple clamps that can be controlled remotely! (For reference, Lovense Gemini Vibrating Nipple Clamps It costs $79.)

Things that I of which as about him Velora Crest vibrating nipple clamps:
- Extremely lively: The vibrations of the Crest are very buzzy, that is, sharp and shallow. Ultimately, this doesn’t bother me as much for nipple stimulation as it does for clitoral stimulation, largely because I’m not trying to have orgasms through nipple play, so it doesn’t bother me if my nipples become a little desensitized from the buzzing, but it’s still not my preference, to say the least.
- Not very strong: In addition to being superficial, these vibrations are also not very powerful, even at their maximum speed. However, that may not be a problem if you’re just looking to use the Crest as a fun tease while out in public.
- Not adjustable: Nipple size can vary greatly from person to person, so although Crest fits my nipples well, I can’t guarantee it will fit yours. However, it is made of fairly flexible silicone, so I think it should fit most nipples. The lack of adjustability also means that you can’t easily decrease or increase the pain/pinch level if you wish, as you can with (for example) my beloved Weal & Breech nipple clamps.
- Short battery life: You get about 50 minutes of use from a 40-minute charge, which is okay, but not great.
- Easy to lose parts: The Crest does not come with a storage bag, so it would be very easy to misplace one of the clamps (since they are not attached to each other) or the remote control.
(Not safe for work warning: there’s a boob pic below!)

Final thoughts
When I think of him Crest like a pair of nipple clamps that can be worn sneakily under clothes in public, love them! They are elegantly designed, tremendously painful (but not also painful), and are contoured in such a way that they lie relatively flat under a bra, so no stranger will suspect me of secret sexy shenanigans.
when I think of these toys like nipple vibratorsHowever, they don’t meet my expectations: I wish the vibrations had a wider range of intensities and had a much less high-pitched timbre. It always sucks when Vibration is the worst part of a vibrator.!
That said, for $33, you could do a lot worse than the Ridge clamps. Consider them for your sadomasochistic needs, especially if you think you would prefer their silky-smooth silicone to the hard plastics and metals that most other nipple clamps are made of. After all, when you crave nipple pain, why? No Have you been administered a pair of bright red angel wings?
